One of the great things is that there are limited guest numbers. I think you'd have a maximum of 10. When we were there it was generally 6 and occasionally 8. Shimungwe delivered a perfect safari for our family. Recently converted from a private family lodge, Shimungwe provides a near-private experience in Thornybush Reserve. With four rooms total on the property, the entire experience feels exclusive. While rated 4 Stars, we had a 5 Star experience.
