Celebrate a milestone birthday, anniversary or family reunion with an exclusive-use safari at Shimungwe Lodge in Thornybush Game Reserve.
Booking all four suites gives your group private use of the entire lodge, including its shared living and dining spaces, swimming pool, boma and safari vehicle. With a maximum capacity of eight guests in total, including children, each day can be shaped around your family’s preferred pace.
Twice-daily game drives are included, and children aged six years and older are welcome to join. Guided nature walks are available to guests aged 16 and older at an additional cost.
For younger children, the lodge team can arrange simple activities like bush crafts or pizza making which take place in open view, in the central lodge facilities. Note Shimungwe does not provide babysitting or supervised childcare, and a parent or guardian must be at the lodge while children participate.
