As a private game reserve, Thornybush allows off-road driving (under the appropriate conditions) and game tracking, enabling guides to follow wildlife more closely and share with you a deeper understanding of animal behaviour. This creates a more immersive and exclusive safari experience compared to public reserves.
The Greater Kruger region is known for its exceptional biodiversity. In addition to the Big Five, guests may encounter giraffe, zebra, hyena, wild dog, hippos and a wide variety of antelope species.
