Our highly experienced, in-house chefs are masters of culinary delights and love nothing more than to tantalise your tastebuds with their delicious meals and home-made recipes. Start your day with fresh, hot coffee and hand-crafted biscuits before leaving to go out on your morning game drive. When you're back at the lodge from your morning adventures, you'll be ready for a hearty continental and cooked-to-order breakfast. Then there's time to rest, relax and process everything you've seen, while looking over the Timbavati river bed, keeping a look out in case you spot an elephant, a nyala, or an impala from your suite or from the pool area.
Lunch is gourmet adventure of European-inspired light bites and tempting treats. We usually serve this mid-afternoon, getting you ready to head out on game drive again to see what surprises await you in the African bush. Once you're back, your evening meal is an indulgent 3-course menu combining rustic, home-cooked fare with a flair of fine-dining brilliance to be enjoyed as you settle under an African sky. With advance notice, our chefs are thrilled to go above and beyond to suit almost all dietary requests and requirements for your luxury safari in South Africa.
